Brain Neural Computer Interfaces study

The European Commission charged enablingMNT with the writing of a report on Brain Neural Computer Interfaces (BNCI). They are defined as the science and technology of devices and systems responding to neural processes in the brain or any other neural feedback that generate motor movements and to cognitive processes (e.g., memory) that modify the motor movements. enablingMNT made an assessment of the current BNCI status in Europe in terms of technology maturity and market opportunities. The outcome helped the Commission to set the future directions of BNCI research in the context of the framework programme.
